About Us
PEVCRE founder M Ozgur Altan have over 20 years' experience in international banking, private equity, real estate and venture capital investments. He helped pensions funds, endowments, fund of funds, sovereign investment programs, family offices and HNW investors achieve their investment targets in the private markets and analyzed and evaluated over a thousand fund investment opportunities over the past 16 years and signed off on over $1.2bn fund investments for institutional and other LPs. He managed over $3bn investments in a portfolio of funds across geographies from US to Europe, Middle East to Asia & Africa, with fund strategies ranging from early to late-stage venture, growth and expansion capital to lower-mid and mid-market buyouts, secondaries, private debt, infrastructure and distressed alongside various real estate fund strategies (development, opportunistic or distressed) and real assets (timber, land and US energy). He has long term relationships with established LPs, top performing GPs and first-class intermediaries from around the World. He sat on fifteen advisory boards with funds from the US to the UK, Germany, Scandinavia and Japan working with other prominent LPs - pension funds, sovereign funds, family offices and endowments, overseeing the funds and ensuring they are managed in accordance with the principles set out in the partnership agreements over the full life cycle of the fund.
At PEVCRE, our goal is to use our experience and global reach to help investors find the most suitable funds for their alternative investment portfolios and help them along the way to get allocation in top ranking funds, conduct due diligence and monitor the investment and divestment processes over the life term of the fund. We have a long-term perspective for investments in the alternative investment space with a view over several vintages in partnership with Managers and with a hands-on & active approach (Quarterly reviews of performance and activity, advisory board seats and AGM attendance).
